Success is rent that must be met and turned in everyday! No matter the body nor the mind’s tiresome weight. This morning I watched a episode of “Young Rock” twice it motivated me so well! Since as far back as early early childhood I had dreams of doing something big with my life! Regardless of the “modern Matthew” or “Simple Susan” ok with being a Doctor or a Lawyer or even a football coach or a health teacher following in their parents’ footsteps…I have envisioned something much bigger which is that you can do whatever you put your mind to. I knew it was to be remedial. My career in life is what I am referring to here. I still haven’t reached it financially speaking; but won’t ever give up! The word of the day according to dictionary.com is “Vernal” which means of or relating to spring. “Remedial” according to dictionary.com has two definitions: 1.affording remedy; tending to remedy something. 2. intended to correct or improve one’s skill in a specific field. Reasonings behind both of these words (Remedial/Vernal) relating today in my mind is therapeutic springing into action. My field was always entertainment. As 34 now I can see that with clear eyes. More mature than a 8 year old kid who just loved to create without knowing he was deeply passionate about it. From creating tv shows that were really just me acting out a show saying aliens from outer space are watching my shows to late middle school acting out action figure events with a best friend. In 8th grade I was older and knew no one was really watching or listening to my “shows/or events” but I remember. Oh thank god I remember the innocent passion I had! I was not with a shield to the negativity. I just acted and pursued my creations to the farthest reality that my imagination let run. “Secret Agent no.32” was one of those espionage shows I acted out early on by myself where a secret agent similar to James Bond or so would have missions to stop the evil. This character was played by “Randal Cunningham” in my mind…wearing his Eagles no.32 football jersey. Ever since I was as young as I can recall I have memories of my Dad being a coach. I was always around sports. I loved being active, but I just couldn’t get into sports like the rest of them I guess…come to think of it my brother Patrick who was coached by my dad in high school football never graduated to the pros either…instead a business degree. My aspirations were always in the escape of the “weigh me downs of everyday mundane realities”. Not sure why I was inescapably shy off and on until early 20s…but I was…my parents’ might have blamed it on them sheltering me. Nonetheless I can’t totally categorize it as a bad thing. Even just sitting here I am sweating from the arms like a Dwayne Johnson 4 am workout so I am sure you can imagine the passion I have for expressing my passions and/or just…creating stories. Taught to love. Taught the golden rule: treat others the way YOU would like to be treated. I am the 6th of 6 children. 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. 3 of those 5 siblings were my mom’s offspring from another marriage, and 2 were my dad’s offspring from a different marriage as well. I’m sure you could think by the time the 6th was born in me and the only one from my mom and dad together in my eyes…yeah…all the rest of my brothers and sisters were all step. None 100% full blood. Early on my Dad’s kids Patrick and Jill came over on the weekends…I mostly felt raised by my sisters since if my parents were gone my sisters Monica and Christal would babysit. Monica was the closest to me at 9 years apart. I’m not gonna run through my whole family tree right now. That is actually for my autobiography I haven’t wrote yet I promised. Promised since my sister Monica passed just so tragically the 3rd of November 2017 from a heroine overdose. I have never really disconnected from that and since she died I promised myself to never give up on my dreams. @JakeJohnstone19 accounts on all platforms will not be related to my “underground rap music career” but I will say that I promised to dedicate 8 open mic performances in a row to my sister. 2018 I did accomplish this up to 7 in a row open mic performances at the local downtown bar Mojo’s. 8 I stayed home on since my girlfriend Dannielle Dean and I share the same favorite number I spend time with her on what would be the 8th night in a row. It is now March the 20th of 2021 almost 4 short years since my sister’s passing…oh how I still won’t give up. Backwards I will go to March of 2020 just about a year ago I performed my last open mic performance since a “pandemic” occurred worldwide. When in 9th grade I remember writing a story fast for some assignment. I just felt gifted one time performing at open mic rapping. Quick at creating stories…fictional or nonfiction. It grew and grew as motivation was life. Whether it is the loss of a loved one or just getting older feeling like I will reach a age one day where I didn’t reach my dreams giving up is never an option!! I won’t combine that persona with this real life person…but…I must say as I finish this post…just some quotes from some of the best motivators from the world of entertainment.

Thanks for joining with me on this journey to inspire, motivate, and entertain. No matter the eventually outcome of my form of expression through creative entertainment I will never give up!
Included following is me with my sister Monica RIP … standing outside The Fountains wedding ceremony building where the Soul Discovery church we attended was being held that day in 2011…

To Monica – “I won’t give up on these dreams to be conquered! In your memory!…One day also promise to write and finish an autobiography!”
For Soaring Satisfying Spiritual Sunday’s post tomorrow I will share the screenplay I wrote for the day of me being a screenwriter for the contest I never entered nor the short film I never created…nonetheless I typed it up and let my drama/12th grade English teacher read it to my surprise of finding it funny which to me was a success since I wrote a comedy/horror short film…”The Mystery of KK”…stay positive!
